BSA is a student-led community centered on Black culture, education, awareness, leadership, and connection. We welcome every Knight who wants to honor, promote, and preserve Black excellence on campus.

Through educational events and programs, the Black Student Awareness Club (BSA) strives to increase awareness of issues surrounding the Black community on our campus, within the city of Orlando, and across the country.
BSA speaks on current events surrounding our community, encourages the celebration of Black heritage, celebrates the accomplishments of Black people on and around campus, and offers insight into the future of our Black community.
We emphasize the promotion and support of African-American student organizations at UCF, as well as the development of outstanding Black student leaders.
BSA encourages and welcomes students to get involved and make a difference through education, empowerment, and understanding.
BSA welcomes all races to be involved in our attempts to honor, promote, and preserve Black excellence on our campus. At its heart, BSA is about creating a true sense of belonging for every student who walks through our doors.
We were not meant to navigate life alone. Through genuine community and a judgment-free space where you're free to be your true self, BSA strives to make every member feel safe, seen, and heard, building meaningful connections as you explore college life.
Nearly 70% of college students report struggling with their mental health since starting school. College can be one of the roughest seasons of life, with new pressures, new independence, and no roadmap. BSA is here to provide support, whether academic, social, physical, or emotional.
Black Student Awareness is a mental health club first. We are committed to bettering mental health for all students through open conversations that bring awareness to mental health, events that nurture physical well-being, community-based events that build peer-to-peer connection, and honest conversations that empower you to show up for those around you. When you pour into yourself, you allow others to experience the overflow.
